We believe that we should constantly develop and improve our technology in order to help ease tasks for our customers and become more accessible, both in terms of price and in simplicity of service and operation. For us, an absolute priority is the manufacture of reliable equipment, regardless of external factors.
“IGM-Detector” CO. LTD has been working in the Russian market since 1995. For more than a quarter-century it has come a long way from scientific discoveries in Physical-Technical Institute Ioffe (Saint-Petersburg) to the largest plant manufacturing optical sensors and gas detectors. Their concept of operation is based on different gas analysis technologies.
IGM-Detector today is a plant with modern testing and production facilities, able to carry out a large amount of research and development work as well as supply products to a wide range of customers within Russia and abroad.
The company releases devices through its own brands; VEGA, IGM, MICROSENSE and MULTIGASSENS and makes up a significant part of the Russian market for gas-analytic equipment. The company carries out ATEX standard certification on devices, and is currently preparing for CSA certification to expand into the markets of Europe and the USA.
During the 1980’s and 90’s, Litvak A.M. Was one of the leading workers in one of ‘ФТИ им. Иоффе,’ laboratories, and along with his colleagues, designed the world’s first laser, light and photodiodes of the mid-infrared range from 1.9 to 5 microns based on A3B5 semiconductor materials.
During the mid-1990’s, he organized a company with his partners for the mass production of IR optoelectronic components in the specified wavelength range, as well as sensors and devices (air pollution sensors and flame detectors) using the specified components. In 2010, partners organized the Optosense factory for the production of MIPEX sensors, optical sensors for measuring explosive hydrocarbon gases. To date, the plant has become the largest global manufacturer of such sensors, producing up to two hundred thousand a year and delivering mainly to US and Canadian markets.
The company ‘IGM-Detector’ was organized in 2012 with the purpose of designing and manufacturing gas analyzers and flame detectors.
Self-contained optical gas detectors construction, with built-in non-rechargeable batteries that operate for years (IGM-10, Multigassens) as well as with LoRaWAN technologies.
Application of polarizing tunable filter technologie (Polaris) for methane leak detection from underground pipeline and continious monitoring of toxic gases (NO, NO2, SO2, CO etc.) emission.
High-stable optical sensors construction (based on Fabry-Perot tunable filter, DB-6 based on 4-rays analysis method), handling LOC of hazardous gases monitoring (starting with methane).
Micro-fluorescent toxic gases and oxygen sensors construction.
